With over a decade of experience, Michael specializes in Weight Management, Post-Rehab, Functional Conditioning, Fatigue/Energy Issues, Back/Spinal Care, Disease Prevention and Management, Women’s Health and Sports Performance Enhancement.
He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sport Medicine (NASM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE), a Medical Exercise Specialist (MES) through the American Academy of Health and Fitness Professional (AAHFP), an Holistic Nutritional Consultant through the American Association of Nutritional Consultants (AANC), and is a Ph.D. candidate in Holistic Nutrition from the Clayton College of Natural Medicine.
For Michael, nothing else matters in the absence of good health: “It is my life’s mission to help others reach optimum health and have fun getting there. Life is too short to spend it feeling less than great every day. Health is not convenient. My job is to help my clients maximize their results while minimizing the time spent in the gym.”
Michael lives in Annapolis. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter. He prefers being outdoors hiking, backpacking, camping, biking, rock climbing, and skiing. He also enjoys racquetball and watching movies.
Michael has a real passion for the profession. He left a legal career after his own health began to suffer and now lives what he teaches. Like any truly effective teacher, Michael considers himself a lifetime student, constantly keeping up with the latest advancements in the science and techniques of fitness and nutrition.
