Therapeutic massage at Evolutions is a combination of modalities designed to facilitate the healing of acute and chronic pain, improve structural dysfunction, promote healthy muscle maintenance, reduce mental stress and improve overall health.
We offer the following massage modalities:
A pleasurable and relaxing massage that includes specific massage movements to open up muscles and free blockages.
A therapeutic massage that addresses tight muscles. More than Swedish, it helps relieve physical and mental stress.
An effective hands-on technique that provides substantial pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore function.
A massage that approaches the treatment of numerous pain and injury conditions. It incorporates a wide variety of massage techniques to provide the most effective treatment of soft tissue pain and injury conditions.
A soothing, comforting massage designed to meet the needs of the mother-to-be. It imporves circulation and releases tension in the low back, neck and shoulders.
Recommended only in the second and third trimesters.
A hands-on technique designed to attach and sustain proper functioning of the human fluid system. It helps re-circulate body fluids, stimulate functioning of the immune system and promote a state of relaxation and balance within the autonomic nervous system.
A massage practice that is a good option when you have a repetitive use injury or may be prone to injury. It can also be helpful in improving flexibility and performance.
A therapeutic technique defined as negative static or dynamic pressure, or suction. Its purpose is to assist the therapist in releasing toxins and tension from tissues and improving blood and lymph circulation and elasticity.
A form of reflexive therapy that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet, hands, and sometimes ears. Its therapeutic effects are based on the theory that these body parts are connected to certain organs and body systems. Treatment can relax the body to improve blood flow, nerve impulses and bioelectric energy to allow the body to balance and heal itself.
